Additional Notes for WK 2

I posted some notes for the paintovers we did in the beginning of the class, its at the bottom of you guy's pages. In the class note section there are some notes on color. Remember don't be afraid to post work in progress (WIP) for crits before class. Or email me for feedback if you don't want to post it on here yet.

WEEK2 homework

-Refine one of your b+w thumbnails
-Do 3 color thumbnails

-Pick one thumbnail from either the color or
b+w thumbnails and refine it more in color

-extra: do 3-5 color film studies, full value.
basically copy the screenshot exactly.

I will be updating the class notes section as the week goes on so make sure to check it out for extra notes.

WEEK 1 Homework

 Week 1 HW:

5 greyscale film studies (you can add more values if you want, if you want to do more than 5 studies that would be great too)

3-5 greyscale environment thumbnails like in the demo (you can do more if you want) Subject matter is up to you.

Framefilter blogspot is a good site for screenshots

Also check the class notes section for some examples of the things that I talked about in class.
